After more than two decades advising on the complexities of GST across both government and professional services, I started Tax Navigate to bring something different: specialist advice, personal service, and practical solutions for clients who need clarity in a complex system.
I’ve worked with the ATO, and I’ve led national and global GST teams as a Partner at PwC. I’ve sat in rooms with the C-suite, asset managers, business owners, family offices, legal advisors and mums and dads, all needing to solve real commercial challenges tied to Australian GST.
Now, through Tax Navigate, I offer expert support delivered with focus, flexibility and transparency. I can also spend more time on the things I enjoy most about working in tax: solving GST problems, making compliance easier for superyacht owners and tax education.
Why I Started Tax Navigate
I enjoy solving the commercial and administrative challenges of the GST, so making the shift from the structure of a large professional services firm to focus on the work that matters to me and to my clients most, was a logical (and refreshing) step.
Tax Navigate gives me the flexibility to apply my experience across a broader range of services, without the limitations of a traditional firm. It allows me to work more closely with clients, develop tailored solutions, and bring a personal, hands-on approach to engagements that are often high-value, high-stakes, and highly technical.
What sets my approach apart isn’t just technical expertise, it’s the ability to simplify the most complex matters and apply solutions in a way that makes commercial sense. My clients aren’t looking for pages and pages of academic argument about the tax laws; they want to know directly what the issue is, how it impacts them, and what they need to do. 17 years at PwC, as a partner leading the Indirect Tax practice in QLD and advising across the property, resources and government sectors nationally
